Good evening Brothers and Sisters.  I hope everyone is doing well and making the best out of a difficult situation.  Once again I would like to thank you for showing up day in day out and performing at a high level.  The unknown can be taxing on all of us, all of you have shown determination and courage during the last few months.   

We must remain steadfast in following our procedures,  remember to social distance and wear your mask every time you are on the fire truck.  We all need to do our part for each other and each other's families.  

The Executive Board is in discussions with FMT on how we can possibly find a solution to vacation selections.  The groups are scheduled to be out the first of July and we would like to find a method that would allow selections to be made seeing what is actually available at that point in time.  

We are getting the last couple of pieces done at the Memorial in the next few weeks.  The medallion will be put in place and the bench will be set in place.  We have approx. 6 hydrants from Enwin and they will be used as bollards to protect the Memorial from traffic down at the waterfront.  

We have an engine and transmission for the Elcombe and Apparatus will be looking at it to see if anything has to be done to it before it gets installed.  

The Board is working together to make things better for the membership.  If there are any issues or concerns please do not hesitate to notify one of us. We will be looking into and discussing the Chilifest and our Retirement Gala status for this fall. We will keep you updated. 

We will be voting for a new OPFFA President and Sec/Treasurer in the next week.  

The Board is wishing you and your family will have the best summer you can with your group of 10.
